Ford Diesel Technician

Job Responsibilities
As a Diesel Technician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks to the highest manufacturer and dealership standards. Responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine systems, fuel systems, emissions systems, and drivetrains
- Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to identify issues accurately
- Test-drive vehicles and verify all repairs are completed properly
- Communicate with Service Advisors to explain needed repairs and provide accurate time estimates
- Execute warranty repairs according to Ford and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic (Ford experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel injection, emissions systems, and diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to stay current with rapidly evolving automotive and diesel technologies
