About Us - Operating Room
- Freeman Health System's main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery
- In this fast paced procedural area, the staff uses their experience, knowledge and skills to work as a team to take patient care to the next level of patient safety and satisfaction
- We offer an in-depth individualized orientation process to prepare employees for success in the perioperative setting
Under the supervision of the registered professional nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.
Requirements
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program, graduate of the internal Freeman Health System Surgical Technologist program, or has greater than two years of clinical practice as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
