A Day in the Life...

As a Tax Specialist at H&R Block, you will receive comprehensive tax training and support from a dedicated team. Your role will allow you to balance professional growth with personal well-being. You will:

  • Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients through various platforms, including face-to-face, video, and chat.
  • Prepare accurate and complete tax returns.
  • Drive business growth and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Assist clients with IRS inquiries and support.
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve office objectives.
  • Continuously enhance your tax knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service or retail.
  • A background in fast-paced, supportive work environments.
  • Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with up to 40 hours during peak periods.

What You Bring...

  • Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
  • Experience in busy work settings.
  • Comfort using virtual tools for communication.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compliance with IRS and applicable state requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
