Tile Subcontractor - Commercial Projects

Jack Laurie Group is expanding, and we are actively seeking high-quality Tile Subcontractors who take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and consistent communication. If you are an experienced tile installer looking to partner with a respected and fast-growing commercial interiors company, we want to hear from you.

We complete a wide variety of commercial tile projects-schools, healthcare facilities, office buildings, industrial spaces, retail environments, government facilities, and more. We keep our subcontractors busy and aim to develop long-standing, mutually beneficial relationships.

We pay agreed-upon labor amounts per job, and all materials are provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and execute work orders according to project scope and specifications
  • Install commercial tile systems including ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and specialty tiles
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Inspect work for precision, accuracy, and overall quality
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience as a commercial tile installer or tile subcontractor
  • Strong knowledge of tile setting tools, equipment, leveling systems, and layout best practices
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting heavy tile boxes, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Reliable communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Liability insurance required; worker's comp strongly preferred
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check
