Job Description
Medical Assistant - Rheumatology - Bellevue, WA

Overview
• Facility Setting: Outpatient Facility
• Unit/Department: Rheumatology
• Contract: 91 weeks | Start: ASAP | Hours/Week: 40
• Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Weekends: No | Call: No

Requirements
• License: MA-C
• Certs: BLS
• Experience: 6 months
• EMR: EPIC
• Compliance: All sensitive onboarding items must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
• Locals: Proof of local address required; permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility preferred.
• RTO Policy: No additional time off will be accommodated post-submission.

Responsibilities
• Rooming patients and preparing them for examination.
• Administering injections and vaccines as prescribed.
• Assisting healthcare providers with patient education and follow-up.
• Managing appointments and conducting follow-up phone calls.
• Performing basic lab tests and obtaining vital signs.
• Insurance verification and medication refill requests.
