Job Summary

DirectPath Recruiting Services is working with a valued client to fill a key Receiving Clerk position within their growing operation. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join a fast-paced team focused on inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and timely delivery. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for inspecting, logging, and processing all incoming shipments while supporting warehouse organization and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and document all inbound shipments and verify against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Record accurate data into the inventory or warehouse management system.
  • Identify, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Communicate any discrepancies, damages, or delays to appropriate teams.
  • Assist with internal material transfers and distribution to various departments.
  • Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified) to safely move inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet operational goals and timelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in receiving, inventory control, or a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Proficient with inventory systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to [X] lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Forklift certification a plus but not required.
