Now hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in New Holland, PA
Shift: 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm (with overtime)
Pay Rate: $26-$34/hour plus a $2.50 shift differential
Responsibilities
-
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to equipment during production.

Maintain and repair production, packaging, and material handling equipment.
-
Support machine setups and changeovers.
-
Respond to production trouble calls.
-
Utilize testing equipment or diagnostic skills to determine the root cause of problems.

Instruct production operators as needed to prevent machine or system damage.

Perform preventive maintenance.
-
Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

Troubleshoot automation, mechanical, servo, and utility equipment issues and implement improvements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required.
-
3-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment

Ability to use basic shop mathematics and interpret blueprints.

Skills in electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.
-
Experience with inventory control, preventative and predictive maintenance.

Basic office computer operation skills.
-
Understanding of lockout-tagout and industrial safety procedures.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Holland, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
