Electrician

This position will be located at our 6100 Ramona BLVD. Houston TX location.

What you will experience in this position:

At nVent Management Company, you will find an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills as an Electrician and contribute to our world-class manufacturing team In this role, you will have the chance to work on ambitious projects, ensuring our products are flawless and meet the highest quality standards.

• Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.

• Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays to adhere to NEC code and customer specifications.

• Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits.

• Read blueprints and perform conduit threading.

• Maintain and ensure tools are in good working condition.

• Train and mentor employees on your shift.

• Keep work areas clean and coordinated to ensure a safe environment.

• Prevent workplace injuries by following safety protocols and attending safety meetings.

You have:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.

• Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred.

• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

• Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives.
