Position SummaryAs an Enterprise Software Applications Analyst, you will develop, implement, enhance, document, and support our organization's most sophisticated software applications, which are crucial to the operational success of the bank. You will act as the primary liaison between software vendors and various business units, providing status updates to management at multiple levels regarding system performance, outstanding issues, and successes.
Key Responsibilities System Administration:- Monitor and ensure the health and performance of the ERP system, maintaining high availability and reliability.
- Guarantee the integrity, performance, and security of our Oracle ERP environment.
- Manage integrations between Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems such as CRM and HRIS.
- Research, test, schedule, and deploy system upgrades and releases in accordance with our change management protocols.
- Create and update system documentation, including procedures, diagrams, SLAs, BCPs, disaster recovery plans, user access audits, and test plans.
- Analyze and recommend system changes, configurations, and enhancements based on business requirements and efficiency goals.
- Lead meetings and provide presentations to various management levels within the organization.
- Gather and report system performance issues, document trends, and establish performance measures.
- Implement and manage security protocols, user roles, and access controls.
- Develop, test, and implement scripts to align business needs with system enhancements.
- Stay updated with new ERP and EPM technologies, suggesting process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for ERP and EPM applications.
- Offer technical guidance and training to internal teams and end-users.
- Collaborate with Oracle support to resolve issues and endorse best practices.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to convert requirements into functional specifications.
- Develop reports and dashboards utilizing ERP reporting tools.
- Ensure data quality and security through validation and access controls.
- Create and manage workflows and data integrations using specialized tools and APIs.
- Customize and integrate third-party applications and services into current solutions.
- Provide tier two help desk support for critical application issues escalated from First Support.
- Leverage subject matter expertise to develop and conduct end-user training.
- Take part in system and user acceptance testing.
- Create user documentation and training materials to facilitate self-service.
- Assist team members in transitioning business requirements into system requirements as needed.
- Lead medium to large projects and support project workflows independently.
- Understand critical business requirements and differentiate requirements from processes while maintaining clear communication with vendors.
- Monitor and maintain data integrations to ensure timely and accurate processing of critical data.
- Develop data validation routines and understand the impact of any exceptions or delays.
- Generate and manage reports for end users.
- Utilize SQL Developer for reading and updating existing PL/SQL scripts.
To excel in this role, candidates must successfully perform each essential duty described. Below are the skills, experience, and abilities required for this position:
Education/Experience:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and five or more years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of four years of experience specifically with Oracle ERP in a banking or financial services context.
- Strong knowledge of database design and integration.
- Experience with banking applications and software administration.
- Familiarity with Java (JavaScript, Groovy) and SQL programming skills.
- Solid understanding of banking finance.
- Knowledge of PowerShell.
- Experience administering EPM applications.
- Oracle ERP or EPM certifications.
- Experience with Enterprise Performance Reporting and Financial Consolidations and Close.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong conflict resolution abilities. Must exhibit self-starting qualities and be capable of working independently or within a team. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential, alongside the ability to prioritize workload effectively while adapting to pressure. Proficient problem-solving skills with an aptitude for mastering new applications outside one's area of expertise.
Language Skills:Ability to comprehend and interpret various technical documents, financial reports, and legal texts. Capable of addressing common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory entities. Proficient in creating publications that adhere to prescribed styles and formats.
Mathematical Skills:Strong ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret rate, ratio, and percentage calculations.
Reasoning Ability:Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from analysis.
