Job Description

This position involves unloading trucks by hand and sorting products according to their designated locations. You will be responsible for de-palletizing, breaking down, and separating materials based on location. Additionally, you will use a pallet jack to place items in designated storage spots within the warehouse. Morning clean-up after loaders is required, along with palletizing bread, labeling expiration dates, and handling glass items by removing and palletizing them without labeling.

Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks and sorting products according to location.

• De-palletizing, breaking down, and separating materials based on location.

• Utilizing pallet jack to store items in designated spots.

• Conducting morning clean-up after loaders.

• Palletizing bread and labeling with expiration dates.

• Handling glass items by removing and palletizing (no labeling required).

• Breaking down pallets, attaching expiration date labels, re-palletizing, and double-wrapping.

• Performing necessary cleaning tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a warehouse environment, unloading containers.

• Motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.

• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Open to entry-level candidates.

• Familiarity with warehouse tasks such as picking, pallet breakdown, plastic wrapping, loading, unloading, and heavy lifting.

• Experience with forklift, packing, packaging, RF scanner, material handling, order picking, and palletizing.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse with both dry and freezer areas, similar in setup to a smaller Costco. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. The shift runs from 11 AM to 8 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brisbane, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
