Role description

Job Role :- Digital Architect

Job Location :- Mississauga, Canada

Job Responsibilities:-

Strategy Leadership

Develop and maintain the enterprise digital architecture strategy and roadmap

Provide thought leadership on technology trends digital platforms and innovation opportunities

Lead the evaluation selection and integration of new technologies platforms and tools

Establish enhance best practices in architecture design and development across the organizations digital landscape

Drive digital transformation initiatives by modernizing legacy systems and processes

Design Architecture

Design endtoend solutions for complex digital projects including web mobile API cloud and omnichannel platforms

Create and document architectural artifacts eg architecture diagrams data models sequence diagrams to communicate the design to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Define the integration strategy for connecting various systems including CRM marketing automation and analytics platforms

Ensure architecture supports key nonfunctional requirements scalability reliability security performance and maintainability

Lead support the implementation of microservices APIled and eventdriven architectures

Technical Guidance Governance

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams solution architects and engineers

Establish and enforce architecture principles standards and guidelines

Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with defined standards and patterns

Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to embed CICD automation and security DevSecOps into the architecture

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business analysts product owners and UX designers to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements

Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders

Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure optimal deployment environments

Required Qualifications Skills

Experience 10 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in an architecture role eg Solution Architect Enterprise Architect Digital Architect in a bank financial company

Technical Proficiency

oCloud Platforms Extensive handson experience with major cloud providers AWS and Azure and cloudnative architectures

oDevelopment Strong background in modern development stacks eg Java Spring Boot Nodejs and frameworks

oFrontend Deep understanding of modern frontend architectures eg React Angular

oAPIs Integration Expert in RESTful APIs microservices SOA ESB and eventdriven patterns Kafka

oData Proficiency in data architecture including SQLNoSQL databases data lakes and data warehousing solutions

oDevOps Familiarity with CICD pipelines containerization Docker Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code Terraform CloudFormation

oSecurity Strong knowledge of security principles OAuth SAML Zero Trust and compliance standards GDPR CCPA PCI DSS

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications eg AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Google Professional Cloud Architect TOGAF Zachman

Proven experience leading largescale digital transformation projects
