Job Summary
We're seeking a Marketing Art Director to define and elevate the visual and user interface strategy for our brand. In this leadership role, you'll guide a team to create cohesive, high-impact digital experiences that resonate with our audience. From strategic oversight to hands-on design, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how customers experience our brand.

You'll report to the Founder & CEO, partnering closely with marketing, product, and development teams to help define and convey the magic of the brand online.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Define and oversee the visual design strategy for our website, digital and brand touchpoints, ensuring alignment with the brand's goals and identity.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team, fostering creativity, growth, and collaboration.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to translate business objectives into innovative design solutions that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Creative Direction: Develop and maintain a digital design system, ensuring consistency across campaigns and platforms.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics, customer feedback, and A/B testing to refine designs, balancing creativity with performance goals.
  • Future-Proofing: Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing new tools, techniques, and design practices to keep the brand's digital presence cutting-edge.
  • Hands-On Execution: Dive into key projects to set the standard for quality and innovation, ensuring designs are not just functional but emotionally resonant.
Required Skills
  • A portfolio that showcases e-commerce-first designs with measurable success, demonstrating mastery of typography, layout, and responsive design principles.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with prototyping tools
  • Solid understanding of user experience principles and their application in high-conversion e-commerce design.
  • Passion for mentoring designers and building a high-performing team.
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in UI, visual design, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with developers, marketers, and product managers to deliver cohesive digital experiences.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This role supervises a small team of digital designers, including hiring, performance management, and ongoing development.
