We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Lead Bridge Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting our Southeast Region. The role can be based in Pensacola, Chipley, or Tallahassee, FL.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of various bridge structures, including culverts and large complex bridges, as well as ancillary structures like traffic signals and light poles.
  • Generate and review detailed inspection reports.
  • Engage in office tasks, including report writing, review processes, and data entry.

What You Need to Have:

  • Strong understanding of national bridge inspection methods, evaluations, and report preparation (preferred).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel out of state and stay overnight as required.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge or ancillary inspections is highly preferred.
  • Successful completion of the FHWA/NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to uphold a safe work environment, complying with federal guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
