We're hiring a Business Office Manager (BOM) - a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who oversees administrative operations, HR compliance, billing, payroll, and site support. This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our mission of compassionate care.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise administrative staff where applicable
- Maintain and audit personnel files for completeness and accuracy
- Manage contracts with facilities, physicians, agencies, and vendors
- Process bi-weekly payroll for hospice office(s)
- Ensure site compliance with OSHA safety and emergency preparedness regulations
- Enter payable invoices into Yardi for approval and timely payment
- Participate in site leadership meetings and Quality Improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and accounting of petty cash; process monthly into Yardi
- Maintain site organizational charts and rosters
- Ensure updated licenses and credentials for compliance with Silverado policy and CMS Conditions of Participation
- Assist with HR activities including onboarding, leave requests, workers' compensation, recognition, coaching, and terminations
- Order office and associate supplies
- Partner with Administrator and billing team on billing oversight
- Ensure employee educational pathways are completed
- Respond to urgent or time-sensitive matters outside scheduled hours as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Administrative experience in hospice, palliative care, or related healthcare fields preferred
- Reliable transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required
- Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of regulatory and financial aspects of hospice programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sympathetic attitude toward hospice patients and families
- Comfortable working in environments with pets

Anticipated pay range
$70,000-$70,000 USD
