Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Vocational Nurse at HCA Healthcare, you’ll have a pivotal role in delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients in their homes. Collaborating with the Registered Nurse and care team, you will address medical needs and promote patient independence—providing care as if they were your own family, one home visit at a time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering nursing care in the home, including wound care and medication administration.
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes to ensure continuous and safe patient care.
• Monitoring patient conditions and alerting the care team to any changes for timely responses.
• Educating patients and families on medication adherence and health condition management to encourage independence.
• Working closely with RNs, providers, therapists, and care coordinators to provide high-quality and personalized care.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
• Current Driver License
• Completion of a Vocational School program
• 1 year of nursing experience required

No travel is required for this position.
