This is a chance to make an immediate impactand grow your career in a system that values your contributions. $15,000Sign-On Bonus $2,500 R elocation Assistance & Housing Stipend for eligible candidates What you will do: Perform MRI procedures and operate scanner/injector systems to produce diagnostic-quality MR imaging Maintain, troubleshoot, and stay current on MR scanner software and equipment Apply your knowledge of MR anatomy, pathology, and physiology to support imaging quality Provide patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and efficient workflow Participate in performance improvement initiatives, staff training, and student orientation Conduct venipuncture for applicable MRI exams Occasionally transport non-narcotic medications as directed Summary Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality MR images. Understands the computer software of the MR scanners and maintains competency in MR area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to MR anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program. Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or No Experience Required Additional Requirements Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs. Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)Required Additional Requirements ARRT Registered or eligible required.
