The Senior Restaurant Operations Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations in both the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) areas. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining excellent standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staffing levels through effective scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring, while upholding Outback Steakhouse’s high employment quality standards.
  • Support the professional development of team members and facilitate their career advancement.
  • Implement security protocols to maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
  • Promote development paths for Outbackers to achieve their career aspirations and assist in management promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and health regulations.
  • Provide guidance and direction to employees, ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
  • Engage actively as a member of the management team.
  • Address guest feedback and opportunities to enhance guest counts while inspiring other Outbackers to do the same.
  • Set high standards for customer service and lead by example.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu and preparation methods.
  • Participate in community and market events relevant to the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of salaried management experience in restaurants.
  • Experience in a full-service casual dining environment is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in both front and back of house operations.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to relocate within the assigned region.
  • Computer proficiency is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are welcome.
