Senior Payroll Specialist - Fully Remote (Temporary Engagement)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist for a temporary engagement in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for a hands-on payroll lead with high-volume processing experience and strong expertise in both U.S. and international payroll platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process high-volume payroll for approximately 1,500 employees

  • Lead and oversee payroll operations as a hands-on supervisor

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution across U.S. payroll (ADP) and international payroll (CloudPay)

  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies

  • Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and internal controls

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities

  • Strong hands-on experience with ADP (U.S. payroll) and CloudPay (international payroll)

  • Proven success managing high-volume, multi-entity payrolls

  • Experience with bank reconciliations

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and effective in fast-paced environments

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
