We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to develop innovative software solutions based on client requirements. Working under general supervision, the Senior Software Engineer will utilize commercially available or custom Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and support the development of technical documentation detailing project design parameters. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging projects while working collaboratively with a team of professionals in a dynamic environment.

To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active secret security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineer software solutions in alignment with client requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Utilize commercially available or custom CASE tools to design and develop software solutions.
  • Support the Sr. Software Engineer in project execution and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation detailing project design parameters and system architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and industry best practices to enhance project outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet project and organizational objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
Education Substitutions:
  • Six (6) years of general experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Master’s degree with at least three (3) years of general experience.
  • PhD with at least one (1) year of general experience.
Experience:
  • At least five (5) years of general experience in software engineering, including solution development and technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to engineer effective software solutions.
  • Proficiency in using commercially available or custom CASE tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Experience developing technical documentation for software projects.
  • Knowledge of emerging software development tools and best practices.
