Our client, the industrial sector specializing in testing and quality assurance, is seeking a Field Technician to join their team. As a Field Technician, you will be part of the laboratory support team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of testing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Technician

Location: Hampton, VA

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Tuesday through Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm

What's the Job?

  • Perform operations including grinding, crushing, dividing, drying, and mixing of coal and coke samples

  • Maintain the integrity of samples throughout the preparation process

  • Collect and verify the identity of samples, report issues to supervisors

  • Conduct physical laboratory tests such as crushing, sieving, weighing, and recording data

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols at all times

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screenings
