Financial Operations Specialist

A growing company in Brooklyn is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to manage core financial functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, and payroll review. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multi-state financial operations efficiently.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee vendor payments and maintain accurate records
- Review and reconcile out-of-state bills and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory standards
- Assist with payroll review and processing across various locations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial workflows
- Support month-end close and reporting processes
- Experience in AP, AR, and payroll functions
- Familiarity with reviewing and processing out-of-state invoices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
