Job Summary
This union role is based at the United Center-the largest arena in the United States-located near the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The United Center hosts concerts, other events, and is home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and the Chicago Bulls (NBA). As a Server Assistant with Levy, you will support servers by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and ensuring guests have a great experience while upholding Levy's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment.
- Support the team by restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
- Follow all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Help monitor guest needs and communicate with servers as necessary.
- Adhere to uniform and presentation standards.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
- Must comply with uniform and professional appearance policies.
- May stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, climb, balance, stand, walk, and handle objects for most of the shift.
- May lift up to 25 pounds.
