Toddler Teacher – The Learning Experience Gainesville

Location: The Learning Experience – Gainesville, VA Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday Pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage an infant or toddler classroom to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Partner with families to share daily updates and developmental milestones.

Mentor assistant teachers and help maintain classroom consistency and quality.

Collaborate with leadership and staff to achieve educational and operational goals.

Qualifications

CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.

At least 6 months of professional childcare experience required (1+ year preferred).

High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Must meet all Virginia state childcare licensing requirements.
