Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Pipe Layers for projects located in the Nashville, TN area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is prevailing wage at $32/hour .If you are a Pipe Layer eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career

Job Scope:

  • Lay various types of pipe including ductile pipe with mechanical joints, Flex Ring Lockring, Mega Lugs as well as fittings valves and more

  • Install RCP/HDPE storm pipe, manholes, vaults, and catch basins

  • Work with C900 slip joint, HDPE fusion pipe, flanged pipe and other materials including DIP, PVC, CPVC, and steel

  • Utilize pipe supports, flotation collars, clevis hangers, and glue joint pipes, PVC, CPVC, dual containment, etc

  • Grading trenches or culverts

  • Position pipes

  • Seal joints

  • Shovel work

  • Trench digging

  • Commercial construction pipe laying

Requirements

  • Must have experience in underground ductile iron piping

  • Lift up to 75 pounds
