We are recruiting for a part time 24 hour per week, Community Engagement Coordinator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in. This position is benefit eligible.

Position Summary:
Weisman Children's is looking for a passionate, collaborative Community Engagement Coordinator to help connect families and referral sources to our full spectrum of pediatric services -- with a special focus on Medical Day Care and Outpatient Programs. In this role, you'll be the face of Weisman Children's across our community, building meaningful relationships with physicians, schools, social agencies, and other key stakeholders. You will work to grow awareness, increase referrals, and help ensure more children and families have access to our exceptional care. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on connection, creativity and purpose -- and who enjoys working both independently and as a part of a collaborative team.

• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including doctors, hospitals, schools, and local organizations

• Represent Weisman Children's at community events, professional meetings, and outreach activities, occasional nights and weekends are required

• Plan and conduct in-person visits and strategic outreach across your assigned territory

• Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and distribute marketing materials

• Clearly explain and promote our service lines, ensuring referral sources understand who we serve and how we help

• Provide thoughtful feedback from the community to our leadership, helping shape future services

• Facilitate connections between community members and out internal terms to create a seamless referral experience

• Use our CRM system to track outreach, plan follow-ups and document referral activity

• Monitor growth goals, identify trends, and present updates to leadership

• Offer insight and ideas that help strengthen programs and outreach strategy

• Bachelor's degree required (Public Health, Human Services or related discipline preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, or referral development preferred

• Proven success building partnerships with physicians offices, government or community programs, schools, and/or agencies

• Bilingual in English - Many of the families and communities we serve are Spanish-speaking

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills

• Passionate about engaging with families and community partners across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, including urban and underserved areas

• Comfortable with CRM platforms and data tracking

• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-directed work style

• A strategic, creative mindset and a passion for community impact
