Sigma, Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Outreach Coordinator to join our team supporting the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services (EOVS) in Boston, MA. This position plays a vital role in connecting women veterans with essential resources through outreach, engagement, and program coordination.

About the Role

Under the direction of the Women Veterans Network (WVN) Director, the Program Outreach Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and execute community outreach events to enhance engagement with women veterans across Massachusetts. This role involves developing new partnerships, maintaining existing relationships, and providing valuable support to programs and events that empower women veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach through public events, informational fairs, and workshops to increase WVN membership and program visibility.
  • Collaborate with state, federal, nonprofit, and community agencies to expand women veterans' access to healthcare, counseling, employment, housing, and educational resources.
  • Plan and support monthly outreach events and assist with major annual functions including the WVN Annual Conference, Deborah Sampson Award Ceremony, and Recognition Luncheon.
  • Manage member data updates in OnBase and maintain accurate program information.
  • Respond to inquiries from women veterans, providing information and referrals to supportive services.
  • Maintain WVN's online presence including updates to the website, social media pages, and digital newsletters.
  • Research and recommend improvements to WVN's outreach strategies and website content for greater appeal and impact.
Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge of veterans' federal and state programs, services, and benefits.
  • Familiarity with women veterans' issues, barriers, and available resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort with digital platforms.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable means of transportation for travel 2+ days per week.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for event setup.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in community outreach, program coordination, or veterans' services.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships with diverse organizations.
