About the Role:

Join Abounding Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Home Health and Hospice, where you will provide compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their homes. This role is perfect for dedicated individuals who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for those in need.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.

Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Document patient care services and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.

Requirements:

Current Texas CNA certification is required.

Previous experience in home health or hospice care preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
