Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems efficiently
- Perform regular preventative maintenance
- Address emergency calls as needed while ensuring job sites are clean and organized
Required Skills & Experience:
- Connecticut D1, D2, S1, S2, S10 Trade License is required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
- Comfortable using a computer and various software applications (including email)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Employment and education history will be verified
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Encon is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment drug testing
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in a range of extreme weather conditions, both hot and cold
- Able to navigate safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, closets, and crawl spaces
- Able to work safely at elevated heights, including rooftops and ladders
- Able to perform tasks involving bending, crawling, stooping, stretching, and reaching
- Able to traverse uneven surfaces
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely
