Currently I have an opening for a Scientific Services Specialist located in Grand Island, NY. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated ICP/ MS / Senior Scientific Specialist to provide critical, on-site, scientific, and operational support as part of a dynamic lab service team.
  • The role is mainly responsible for supporting ICP, MS, and equipment and scientists' operators as requested by our pharmaceutical customer.
  • Other general lab responsibilities will also be required, all of which require a high level of attention to detail to provide a quality service.
  • Knowledge of ICP, MS, and equipment, Client auto sampler equipment, software: PE syngistix instrument.
  • Will perform troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of equipment (AA Spec, ICP-MS, ICP, and MS).
  • Bachelor or master's graduate with experience in ICP, MS, or spectroscopy.
Technical Information:
  • 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent
  • Onsite, M-F, 7:30am-4pm
  • Pay: $35-41 hourly, depending on experience level
