Our client, a leader in facilities management and technical services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the optimal functioning of mechanical systems and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Greer, SC

Pay Range: : $35/h-$40/h

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 6am -2:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Maintain and repair air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, fan coil units, reheat coils, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot customer service calls related to temperature comfort within buildings.
  • Ensure accuracy of system documentation and support new installation projects as needed.
  • Complete hazard assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support equipment management and perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum 3 years of field experience with trade school training or 6 years of total field experience.
  • HVAC license and EPA certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Heavy electrical knowledge, PLC experience, VFD experience, and Universal EPA certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency with computer applications including email, internet, and Microsoft Word.
