Summary: The Assistant Director of Security oversees all aspects of the Baptist Health Security Department's functions, initiatives and activities across the health care settings, promoting, implementing and directing a culture of safety. The Assistant Director plans, manages and continuously evaluates the security operations of the facility, formulating and instituting comprehensive and effective security strategies and policies that focus on high-quality results, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, in accordance with Baptist Health's operating and facility policies and procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements and other relevant guidelines.
Requirements:
Education - Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience - requires a minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible, full-time managerial and administrative experience in law enforcement or healthcare security, or any combination of education and experience.
License/Certification - Must have a valid Arkansas driver's license and a good driving record.
Must not have a criminal record.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - thorough knowledge of security operations, applicable laws, ADH and TJC regulatory requirements.
Strong interpersonal and public relations skills necessary to establish and maintain effective rapport with medical and security staffs, and the public.
Shift: Day
Working Hours: 8am to 5pm M-F
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
