PeopleShare is seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Batavia, IL. In this role, you'll perform maintenance and repairs on injection and blow molding machines, molds, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Equipment Maintenance Technician Job Details:
Location: Batavia, IL
Pay: $28.00-$35.00/hr
Schedule: Full-time | 6 days/week | 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) & 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Equipment Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on injection and blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Assist with machine setups and ensure proper functioning of molds and fixtures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers regarding equipment status and repair needs
- Recommend improvements to equipment performance and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety procedures
- Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active manufacturing environment
