Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend systems.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications through comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create effective test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Continuously enhance testing frameworks, processes, and tools to boost efficiency.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing practices.
- Provide clear reporting on test results and quality metrics to the team.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, particularly in automation.
- Strong expertise with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot, or similar).
- Solid understanding of backend/API testing (Postman, REST-assured, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and seamless integration of test automation.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Proficient in databases like PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the capability to work in a distributed team environment.
- Bonus: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
