Our client is a global leader in wireless charging technologies for industrial and commercial applications. Their advanced, patented inductive charging systems support Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and other material handling equipment, enabling efficient, continuous operation without manual charging stations or frequent battery swaps. These solutions reduce downtime, improve safety, and support high performance warehouse and factory operations.

What You Will Do - Real Impact, Real Responsibility
As an Application Engineer - Wireless Charging, you will:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers integrating wireless charging or power systems, guiding them from early design questions through installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing operation
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to understand real-world use cases, environmental constraints, and performance needs, shaping how our clients' solutions are implemented and optimized
- Perform hands-on diagnostics, bench testing, and root-cause analysis for returned or problematic units, ensuring reliability and contributing to product improvement
- Lead on-site demonstrations, training sessions, and onboarding for system integrators, OEMs, or end users, helping customers use the systems effectively
- Work closely with internal sales, product management, and R&D teams, sharing customer feedback and influencing product development
- Maintain accurate technical and project documentation in the CRM (Salesforce) to support transparency and collaboration
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico (approximately 40 percent) and work from the Aurora, IL office when not traveling
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
- Experience with installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting in industrial or technical environments (experience in automation, robotics, or manufacturing is helpful but not required)
- Familiarity with AGV architectures, DC battery systems, and CAN-bus or similar protocols, and the ability to explain concepts clearly to non-specialists
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to see real-world results of your work
- Collaborative and communicative, able to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work occasional alternate hours or on-call as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Valid U.S. driver's license and passport for travel
