Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Job Pay Range: $68/hr-$72/hr

Contract Length: 12 months

About the Role

I'm looking for a Data Engineer to support a Data Science Enablement team focused on powering enterprise ML/AI workflows. This role centers on accelerating the migration of existing R Shiny dashboards to Streamlit, backed by Snowflake, and supporting analytics and risk teams with reliable, productionready data.

You'll play a key part in transitioning legacy dashboards and data assets to a modern, governed, highperformance environment. The target is to fully retire the legacy platform by the end of 2026, and you'll help drive that transformation by building scalable Streamlit applications and curated datasets that serve data science and credit risk users.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys moving quickly for users, collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers, and working with modern data tooling. If you've supported model development, reporting, or deployment workflows before - and want to deepen your experience in ML/AI enablement - this role offers strong growth potential.

What You'll Do

  • Migrate prioritized R Shiny dashboards to Streamlit, improving performance and delivery speed
  • Build reusable application patterns (state management, caching, charts, tables, exports)
  • Develop and maintain productionready datasets in Snowflake
  • Collaborate with data science and ML engineering partners to align dashboards with model pipelines and monitoring workflows
  • Apply governance, security, and performance best practices across apps and datasets
  • Contribute to lightweight testing, CI/CD workflows, and operational telemetry
Required Technical Skills

  • Snowflake
  • Python
  • R / R Shiny familiarity
  • SQL
NicetoHave Technical Skills
  • dbt

  • ETL / orchestration tools
