Position Highlights

Department: Dietary Aide
Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Variable - Shift Differentials Apply

Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide performs tasks related to the preparation and serving of food for both patient and non-patient meals, along with responsibilities in sanitation and utility functions. Additionally, this position involves cooking on our grill, with training provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in food service
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required within two years of hire
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to read/write/understand English language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year related experience
  • Previous food service experience, including working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong cooking skills, with experience in preparing and cooking a variety of meals.
  • Proficient in operating deli slicers and other kitchen equipment.
  • Experience in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
