About the role

Membership Representative - Beaumont, TX

On-call / as-needed, working on an as needed basis

HealthFitness is looking for a Membership Sales Representative to join the team at our client site located in Beaumont, Texas . In this role you will drive new membership sales and membership retention through excellent customer service, relationship building and continued process improvement. The ideal candidate is self-driven, well-organized and possesses excellent communication skills.

This is an on-call position covering for regular staff when they are unable to work.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing members via face-to-face service, phone, text, and email communication. Building lasting relationships with prospective and current members.

  • Meeting sales goals and generating leads through prospect, networking, and member referrals.

  • Promoting and attending facility social events.

  • Serving as facility ambassador to local businesses, corporations and community members.

  • May provide leadership presence on the floor to assist with issues that may arise and provide coverage when manager isn't available.

  • Conduct tours of the facility and assist members with account changes and requests.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

  • 1-2 years previous sales experience.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

  • Highly motivated and communicates effectively.

  • Passionate about helping others improve the quality of their lives.

  • Able and willing to listen to feedback and apply it moving forward.

Compensation: $9.00/hour
