Allegiant Stadium

Located adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and home to the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium is an award-winning global events destination. A state-of-the-art, multipurpose venue with a capacity of 65,000, Allegiant Stadium has hosted world-class music artists such as Garth Brooks, The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Illenium and BTS with more legendary concerts to come. The fully enclosed stadium is also home to the UNLV Rebels football team and has hosted premier sporting events such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, Pac-12 Championship Game, Las Vegas Bowl, and WWE SummerSlam. The venue also hosted the NFL Pro Bowl in 2022 and Super Bowl LVIII in 2024. Job Summary

The Senior Director of Live Events is an experienced and strategic thinker who will lead a dynamic events team. They will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing a wide range of live events, including concerts, award shows, or other third-party sporting events.

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Sports/Event Management, Production Management, Business, or related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of related work experience in event management and production, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale live events.
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent creative and critical thinking skills to deliver world-class guest and client experiences.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional guest and client service capabilities.
  • Must be able to operate under extreme deadlines and within budget.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
