Responsibilities for Accounting Support Specialist include but are not limited to:

· Responsible for assisting accounting associated with maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions.

· Collects and analyzes financial data, assists with invoicing, monthly status reports and closings.

· Reviews and verify transactions and journal entries.

· Ensuring procedures and internal controls are followed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.

Candidates for Accounting Support Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:

· Excel - this position will primarily use excel to assist with organizing data and preparing journal entries

· Detail oriented - this position and review lines of transactions. This role will be involved at a detailed transactional level and less of a high level

· Flexible - We support 4 separate and distinct business areas and must switch between them throughout a normal workday

· 8+ years' experience

Pay Details: $31.44 per hour
