Lead Mobile Software Engineer

As a Lead Mobile Software Engineer specializing in iOS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical direction, tackling complex challenges, and harnessing the full potential of Apple's ecosystem to craft key product differentiators.

This role goes beyond simple coding; you'll make architectural decisions, mentor fellow engineers, and utilize AI tools to enhance workflows, boost performance, and create exceptional user experiences.

• Lead the development of high-performance, native iOS applications using Swift.
• Architect and design scalable mobile frameworks and features that support thousands of field technicians daily.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver impactful, user-friendly solutions.
• Incorporate AI technologies (LLMs, GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, Cursor, Windsurf) to optimize development efficiency, code quality, and application performance.
• Integrate GraphQL to streamline connections between mobile clients and backend services.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and application architecture.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of TCA best practices and shared state to enhance the performance of our iOS applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of mobile application development experience, with deep expertise in iOS.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and designing mobile applications or frameworks.
• Extensive hands-on experience with GraphQL.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of TCA principles for iOS applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience in a technical leadership role, guiding team direction.
• Expertise in designing large-scale, scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI.
• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, Cursor, and Windsurf.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with TCA and MVI architecture patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitrise or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in writing end-to-end automation tests.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair compensation for all employees, considering a wide range of factors in determining individual pay. The expected salary range for this role in the United States is between $151,100 USD - $202,100 USD, with variations based on location. In addition to a competitive base salary, you'll receive a comprehensive total compensation package including an annual bonus, equity, and extensive benefits.
