Compensation Range: $45.00/hr - $55.00/hr W2

Job Description:
We are seeking a Release/Change Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of software and infrastructure releases, while overseeing enterprise change management processes. This role ensures seamless deployments, effective change control, and minimal operational disruption across large-scale enterprise initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate software and infrastructure releases across multiple teams and platforms.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and manage go/no-go checkpoints.
  • Develop deployment runbooks, release notes, and implementation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with version control and configuration management standards.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful deployments.
  • Manage the lifecycle of changes in alignment with governance policies.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and document decisions.
  • Maintain release and change calendars, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
  • Track and report on release and change metrics, including success rates and incident impacts.
  • Support project managers with planning, tracking, and coordination of initiatives.
Requirements:

Must-Haves:
  • 5+ years' experience in release management and/or change management roles.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and SDLC methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale deployments across cross-functional teams.
  • Communication and coordination skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification.
  • Experience in utilities, logistics, or waste management industries.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Experience working in a hybrid work model.
