Essential Functions for the Position:

Required to perform inspections, repairs, overhaul maintenance and servicing of gasoline and diesel vans, and other automotive equipment and their components, and perform other related work as required.

Special Knowledge & Skills:
  1. Must be a general mechanic familiar with all aspects of gasoline and diesel engine repair, preferably Ford diesel and gas electronically controlled engines.
Education, Training & Experience:
  1. Must be high school or trade school graduate.
  2. Must have four (4) years' practical work experience in the automotive and/or light duty truck/bus field. A.S.E. certifications preferred.
Other Job Requirement & Conditions:
  1. Must have own tools.
  2. Must have excellent work performance and attendance record.
  3. Must have valid Type 3 Hawaii State driver's license with clean driving abstract.
  4. Must pass company-administered written examination.
  5. Must be able to pass Company sponsored medical examination and drug screen to meet Company and DOT Medical requirements.
  6. Must be willing and able to work various shifts.
