We are seeking a Senior Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role offers a 9/80 work schedule, providing a great work-life balance.
What You'll Get to Do:
The Senior Planner/Scheduler will be integral to our Scheduling Center of Excellence and will contribute to various programs within the Mission Systems Sector. This engaging role focuses on skill development and also outlines clear pathways for professional advancement. You will receive training on standardized tools that facilitate compliance and enhance program execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leveraging product development planning expertise to establish and maintain program schedule baselines; collaborating with multifunctional teams to update management on the status of complex development and production programs.
- Working alongside business and project management personnel to create an integrated program measurement baseline for managing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Utilizing project scheduling software to formulate plans and monitor progress. Identifying performance variances to facilitate targeted action in conjunction with technical leads. Developing action plans and risk mitigation strategies with the team to address performance challenges.
- Conducting in-depth project analysis using metrics reviews and predictive assessments to improve cost, schedule, and technical outcomes.
- Performing schedule risk analyses and collaborating with program management to address high-risk schedules, critical path challenges, and network logic conflicts.
This position requires the selected candidate to pass a Polygraph examination.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant professional experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Can consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years of project scheduling experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, or Deltek Open Plan.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
- Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance is required.
- A final DoD Polygraph is needed before starting the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of program scheduling experience.
- Experience with schedule analytics and schedule risk assessment tools.
- Understanding of EVMS guidelines and processes.
- Current, active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph.

The primary salary range for this position is $95,800.00 - $143,600.00. This range is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman evaluates multiple factors when determining base salary offers such as the complexity and responsibilities of the position along with the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. In addition to base pay, employees may qualify for overtime, shift differentials, discretionary bonuses, and other incentives.
