We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team in the Western Chicago suburbs. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipe materials with precision.
- Ensure all installations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of piping systems.
- Work with a variety of materials, including metal, PVC, and copper.
- Proven experience as a pipefitter or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have current OSHA certification and follow all safety regulations.
- Certification in pipefitting or related trade is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with schedule.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
