Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Position Type: Travel Radiology Technologist, On-Site
- Location: Louisville, KY 40202 (Kentucky healthcare jobs)
- Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:30pm - 7:00am (Night Shift, 10-hour shifts)
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Duration: 13-week contract (Start: 11/10/2025 - End: 2/9/2026)
- Call Requirements: 1 weekend shift per month
- Unit: Radiology (X-Ray), 2nd Floor
- Equipment: Shimadzu & GE portable X-ray machines
- EMR: Cerner & McKesson
- Dress Code: Ceil blue top, black or ceil blue bottoms
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1810 - $1940
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
- Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Kentucky Radiation Operators License
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Proficiency with Surgery C-arm & Portable imaging
- Preferred: O-arm and Fluoroscopy experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for ER patients, inpatients, and stroke protocol cases
- Operate Shimadzu and GE portable imaging equipment for X-ray exams
- Document procedures accurately in Cerner and McKesson EMR systems
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment following hospital protocols
- Participate in call rotation (1 weekend shift per month)
- Demonstrate strong communication and patient care skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality clinical support
