About The Position
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Three years experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology. License: VA license required or proof of application. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Body and Neuro experience required. Thrombectomy experience required. Description: Perform a variety of technical procedures prescribed using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required. Responsibilities include ensuring the proper functioning of the Interventional Radiology Section. Flu vaccine is required during flu season. Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine must comply with guidelines. COVID-19 vaccine is required. Must provide proof of active license from another state if applicable. Call required: 8-12 days of call per month with a 30-minute response time. Expect to work on holidays as needed. RTO must be kept to a minimum, preferably no requests for a calendar week off during assignment. All travelers must attend either an accelerated or two-day class for EPIC training, if applicable. Stateme nt of EPIC experience should be provided.
