Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms, tool wear, and operational issues.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and G-code.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and its application.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks and maintain tight tolerances.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM) for program review or minor edits
• Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
• Demonstrated experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis, 5-axis, mill-turn)
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
