Company Overview: Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are excited to welcome a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to our compassionate team. Join us and make a difference in the lives of our residents
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed nursing notes that accurately reflect the care provided and the residents' responses.
- Complete all required forms and charts for resident admissions, transfers, and discharges with attention to detail.
- Prepare and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Support and guide certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure adherence to resident care plans, promoting consistent and quality care.
Compensation: Competitive pay rate with shift differentials.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited institution and be a graduate of a Connecticut-approved RN/LPN program.
- Current certification as a Nursing Aide is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 40 pounds to a height of at least 3 feet and carry such weight a distance of at least 4 feet.
