We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Surgical Registered Nurse Services to lead a surgical nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care in our surgical departments.
The Director of Surgical Registered Nurse Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the surgical departments, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. The incumbent will lead a team of skilled surgical nurses, collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and implement best practices to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure safe and efficient surgical care delivery.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team to coordinate patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality improvement initiatives within the surgical departments.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new surgical nursing personnel.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and hospital administration to address concerns and promote effective communication.
- Monitor surgical department budgets and expenditures and collaborate with financial personnel to optimize resource allocation.
