Nuclear Medicine Radiologist

Charlotte Radiology, a large (>100 physician) subspecialty-based radiology practice, is seeking an ABR certified or eligible fellowship-trained nuclear medicine radiologist. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our 5-physician nuclear medicine section and will be based at our flagship hospital in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid position consisting of onsite and remote shifts.
Nuclear Section Highlights:
- Wide range of general nuclear medicine and PET-CT including neuro and pediatrics.
- Large volume of PET-CT from 4 fixed scanners and 1 mobile scanner including FDG, DOTATATE, PSMA, and FES.
- Rapidly growing oncology volumes from our partnership with Levine Cancer Institute.
- Hybrid siting with ability to read PET-CT virtually.
- Virtual multi-disciplinary tumor board involvement.
- Section currently protocols and interprets for 10 separate nuclear medicine departments throughout Atrium Health
- Nuclear Section members rotate into General/Body Shifts. No Mammo, MSK or Neuro required.
- Partner salary >90 percentile for private practice radiology

- ABR certified or eligible
- Fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine
- Integrated nuclear medicine and radiology residency pathway candidates will also be considered
